i honestly don't think there are physical fitness requirements before someone can go kayaking. because the way i see it, some people go paddling or kayaking to be more physically fit. while some only do it out of interest and for relaxation.. Right?

Initially, whitewater kayaking isn't physically demending and it does not ask you to have a high level of fitness.. Only that yor body must be capable of performing few hours of moderate exercise everdya.. that it can go through changing tides and strong winds..

Yep! I think normally fit people can take on kayaking without any difficulty. It does not require much physical or endurance training. But of course, you've got to keep yourself protected during the kayak.. put on your safety gears and be prepared with the emergency supplies, just in case you'll need it.
