Hello all! im just after your views on river running play boats. i have one play boat but i am actually after something that's a little longer. do you think a dagger juice 7.1 or a pyranha stretch can do something other that just park & play? i dont have much time now to travel for demo of too many boats and are no dealers close to where i live. the local stores here also do not have too many boats to try out. So your feedback can help me much!

Never ever go for a river running playboat.. They wont do you good in both tricks (especially in the holes) & they aren't very good river runners too! They will only take you down to the same part of the river where a playboat can go.. I suggest that you just get one of those bigger playboats, wherein you are at the lower end of the weight range.. Because this will give you extra comfort & extra speed, but still retaining your ability to park & play..
and another thing, river running playboats are only good for those who are only starting to kayak.. so if you're really interested in surfing on the waves & play, then find your playboat but go only for cheap ones, like inazone or I:3..

I totally agree with that! because my brother once owned a pyranha seven-0, w/c is a river runner/playboat. it really doesn't perform!
if you really want a playboat for the river, then look for an old pyranha range such as the I:3 or probably the stretch one.. i also heard the Riot Booster performs good.. and it's cheap!
try 2 Look at the different manufacturers and see.. but to sum it up, my advice is get a nice playboat that can perform "well" on rivers.
