In all honesty, who among you here carry a set of split paddles when you're out paddling? How many have used them?

Who needed them but do not have any?

Yes, i do. and i still carry them now when we go out paddling, we make sure at least there is one set in each group.

so there, we always carry a set. but they only live at the back of my boat i've needed them only once but i was glad i had them with me then.

after all, split paddles should be one of those things you should have on your boat & just leave them there! haha

I have a pair of split paddles & all they do right now is rest in my garage. I have always planned on bringing them along, but maybe i've already forgotten all about them

And i also haven't paddled much lately but if the river is hard enough on my next activity & ever the team will need it, then i'll pack those split paddles!
