For everybody here Ü for those who use proper kayaks in the ocean, how do you launch your kayaks in the ocean without damaging your fins?

LOOK FOR TOUGH FINS & BE PATIENT. Try to take the boat as close as you can to the deep part of the water before you get on it and put the deck on w/o getting water in.. sit & wait 4 the waves to come before u shuffle forward. then use ur paddle in one hand and the other hand, use it to press the sand so u can lift ur boat up & forward. KEEP STRAIGHT. Once u feel the boat is becoming weightless, then u're deep enough so just paddle on. damaging ur fins from hitting the stones under d sand is just a part of it, so dont worry! i broke a fin the other week and honestly, it takes quite some force to snap onw. but that was the first one i broke since i started surfing years ago..
