Me?! I can't say any because I just went kayaking once and after that, I haven't tried to do it again in a different place, so i can't compare that kayaking tour with any places yet.
How about you guys? Where's the best place you consider for kayaking and why is it the best?

my advice for beginners is the Lower Salt River at Lake Ranch. believe me, that's a good place for beginners like you. The lake is slow but still has enough rapids for you to enjoy kayaking.

The best kayaking destination for me is still MAUI with the Sea turtles & Dolphins completing the adventure! Try to visit the place some time. The place isn't only good for kayaking but for snorkling too.
I've posted some pictures we took when we went there: http://www.abc-of-kayaking.com/pictures/view-album.asp?album=507

Best kayaking destination for me is Brazil - south of Rio on the Green Coast, out of colonial town called Paraty. Warm waters, sheltered bays, beautiful beaches, rainforest covered hills...great for beginners...and there are turtles, monkeys on the islands and dolphins about too. Check out some photos i've taken http://picasaweb.google.com/paddybsa/ParatyKayaking# these people speak english and can help with trips http://www.paratyexplorer.com
