I am planning to take my family out for a kayaking vacation. And that would mean taking our 7-yr old & 5yr-old kids with us.. Do you also have any experiences with kayaking trips & camps with your children? How did it go?

Wherever you choos to go, make sure you got at least a good-sized hatch that can carry the the gear in your kayak. And just put your kids in their own seats & give them their own paddle so they can try it by themselves too.

Go somewhere that have slow and shallow yet has enough
riffles so that the kids will feel relax. And also just like what rapids_boof
said makes sure to have a kayak that is big enough to carry your stuffs.
