Last Mini-Paddle of 2007 Kicks Off October 28

A leisurely paddle will be held down the Great Miami and out to the Ohio River on October 28. Guides form the Friends of the Great Miami will accompany the paddlers.
Proceeds from this activity will benefit Friends of the Great Miami and the Cincinnati Recreation Commission’s Vision Trek program for inner city teen paddlers.
Paddlers will meet at Shawnee Lookout, Lawrenceburg Road, North Bend Ohio. The all-day activity starts with the check-in and gear up at 8 a.m. Paddlers are expected to be in the water at 8:30. The paddlers will have a roundtrip from Shawnee Lookout to the Ohio River and back in 2 and ½ hours.
