	Rafting Trips may be Limited at Shoshone Rapids
	The Forest Service in Glenwood Springs, Colorado had recently announced that they may have to put a restriction on the number of commercial rafting and kayaking trips that would be allowed in the Shoshone rapids of the Colorado River. 	Return to Pier Race to be Held Jan. 19
	The Return to Pier Race is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 19 at Santa Barbara, California. 	Three students from Cranbourne, Australia were members of the winning Murray Marathon kayaking team in the two-person open school relay class last month. 	Male Kayaker Saved from Oneida River
	A man was rescued from the Oneida River near Brewerton after spending two hours calling for help underneath a dock. Brewerton Fire Chief Michael Stassi said that the man, in his fifties and name withheld, was kayaking with his girlfriend when his kayak overturned and he surfaced under a dock.
