This summer, Lewis-Clark State College's Continuing Education & Community Events (CECE) offers a new and better way of spending the vacation. Aside from classes on making spring and summer salads and planning a medicinal herb garden, LCSC includes whitewater kayaking on its list of activities.

Mike Beiser and a representative from the University of Idaho Outdoor Program will give the sessions. Registration fee is only $45.

On the other hand, learn tossing your Spring & Summer Salad for only $50 under Chef Bill Jollymore’s cooking class on April 1 at the Red Lion Hotel. The medicinal herb garden planning sessions will be held on April 5 from 10am to noon at Room 135 of the LCSC Activity Center West. Registration fee is $35.
